The Reset: Overview & Flow

-
Day One: 4/18/24
Arrival, Welcome, & Opening
Expect a warm welcome to the ranch, which will open its gates at 4pm. Be there by 5:15 to check in to your room before joining our circle for a welcome reception and delicious dinner.
We’ll then share introductions, an overview of the days ahead, and an opening ritual before settling in for a good night’s sleep.
Expect a mix of guided learning, interactive exercises, group work, and individual sharing this evening and throughout the week.
Throughout the week, you’ll savor nourishing, delicious breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks, time for journaling or meditation (including guided offerings), and opportunities for connection with our Reset circle, and with the Ranch’s beautiful land.
Each day will balance content, conversation, practices, and flexible time for reflection, exploring the Ranch, meditating, or arranging 1:1 sessions with Ellen and other teachers. -
Day Two: 4/19/24
Our Stories, Our Truth
The day begins with yoga for anyone who wishes. Yoga will be available each morning; join as you wish. Then we’ll enjoy breakfast and time to be together or explore our surroundings. At 9:15 programming begins, as it will each day.
This day’s focus is on the “stories” we’ve been told for millennia about who and what women are – and the timeless truths that reveal the cost of the lies we’ve been told. You’ll immerse in the true story of female power, our astonishing evolutionary importance, and how our brains – so different from those of the male of our species – position us as essential catalysts for the future we need to shape now. We’ll re-examine our emotional and intuitive intelligence and leave plenty of detrimental myths behind.
By the end of this day you will know YOU – and every woman – for this truth: it’s time for a reset. We are the balance, the agents of change, and the HOPE the world needs now. -
Day Three: 4/20/24
Reawakening Our Power
The morning explores “balance” in our brains – and how our ancestors cultivated it in ways we have lost. Building upon these insights we’ll make our first visit to Sky Village, a private sanctuary set within sacred land once inhabited by this region’s Indigenous people.
We’ll pay homage to these people on an. Archeological Walk led by Garry Adams, co-proprieter (along with his wife Ming) of the Ranch. You’ll see ancient petroglyphs and pottery shards, entrances to underground Kivas – settings of ceremonies and rituals – what might be “birthing rocks,” (boulders that supported women as they brought life into the world), and remnants of original dwellings.
After lunch we’ll share a ritual in the Ranch’s breathtaking Sky Kiva before dividing into two groups: one who will share a lively time of movement, creativity, and play; one who will choose to participate in a guided ceremonial journey.
We’ll all return to the Ranch in time for a restful evening.
-
Day Four: 4/21/24
Integration
Today we’ll make sense of all we’ve learned, challenged, and reimagined through our journeys so far. We’ll explore new frames for our professional and personal realms and practice the mindsets that let us show up in the world as the forces of good our brains and biology empower us to be.
We’ll then invite some new voices: wise teachers from nearby Diné (Navajo) land, offering their views on balance, the importance of gender equality and harmony, and the teachings of the natural world. We’ll also explore the role of the healthy masculine through the light of the true feminine.
We’ll continue with interactive practices and topic-specific breakouts – and then begin our reimagining of the stories that have brought us here – so we are ready to live the ones that will get us there.
Our day ends with a traditional Diné (Navajo) banquet and a ritual that prepares us for all our final day together will hold.
-
Day Five: 4/22/24
Restore, Re-story, Reset
Today we rewrite the vision we’ll hold as women and commit to the mindsets, actions, and resets we’ll bring to life as we take all we’ve learned back to our worlds.
This is a day of sharing, supporting, and making commitments that we will use to realize – to make REAL – our reawakened inner knowing as we take new stands on the paths that matter most to us, and to our lives.
This is also a day of sisterhood and solidarity as we explore ways to support one another in the new steps we’ll take going forward.
Expect fun, excitement, vulnerability, and celebration as we weave together a new vision for how we will all show up in the world.
Late-afternoon we’ll return to Sky Village for our closing ceremony, a celebratory dinner, a beautiful ritual, and an immersive Sound Bath that will seal our time together in – literally – a vibration-shifting way.
Then back to the Ranch for s’mores and relaxed time around the fire.

Departure: 4/23/24
Farewell, Fare Well
Our goodbyes begin on your schedule. Join Yoga if time allows, spend time soaking in memories of the Ranch’s beautiful land, sit with a friend for breakfast, or pack healthy to-go treats for the road ahead.
After checkout by 11:00am, anyone who has time can join an informal group visit to Mancos, a charming town on the way to Durango, for a no-host lunch and a visit to the incomparable Kelly Kilgore’s gallery of Native American Art. We’ll stop at the wonderful Pueblo Seed & Food store in Cortez en route – a wonderful place to stock up on farm-fresh staples and healthy baking to bring home.
For those who want more archeology and nature, both Canyon of the Ancients National Monument and Mesa Verde National Park are but short drives away.
